US can live with this situation as it exists for some time, probably enough time to further undermine Iran’s position in other ways (including in Lebanon) and then cross their arms and say “here’s the new deal” that’s just a severely watered down version of the deal Iran wanted but with zionist gains in Lebanon locked in, with other demands watered down, etc.

Geese, why are you like this?

The resident Canada geese in my neighborhood are pretty chill. The only time I got lip was when I went out the back door and there was a goose, a gander and a gosling right there within a few feet. I received an angry honk as they shooed their gosling away from the stupid ape.

The Farne Islands off the Northumberland coast have long drawn fans of the natural world keen to catch sight of the resident guillemots and puffins. But as recently as last week, another much bigger black-and-white animal has been delighting wildlife spotters. Orcas have been appearing more regularly than ever before. In the past, fishers working on these waters may have caught a glimpse of orcas far out to sea, but this year and last, sightings have been more regular, and much closer to the shore, with dolphins also becoming much more common.

I have too much scrap wood. I needed a scrap wood bin. So I made a scrap wood bin out of scrap wood to hold my scrap wood.

The proportions are odd, but it’s designed to fit under the landing of the stairs going into the garage. Makes a good use of an otherwise awkward space. Like everything else in the shop, it’s on casters to allow for easy movement and cleaning around. Most of this wood was from the big lifting tower I used to get the dust collector motor into place.
