Rescued over 45,000 people: Previously claimed to have rescued more than 45,000 women and children, but later removed this from his website. High-risk missions: Claims to participate in dangerous missions in war zones like Iraq and Syria. Performs exorcisms by phone: Claims to conduct exorcisms over the phone. World-record gun disarm: Claims to hold a world record for the speed at which he can grab and unload a gun pointed at him.

Hver femte dansker tror Facebook har en chefredaktør der tager ansvar for indholdet

Sidder og læser en artikel (Politiken, paywalled) fra sidste uge om, at Meta fjerner mindre skadeligt indhold end de tidligere gjorde, fra deres platforme. Det er deprimerende nok i sig selv, men helt i tråd med hvad Zuckerberg i januar 2025 annoncerede de ville gøre. I bunden af artiklen nævnes det, at en rapport fra Nordisk Råd i januar 2026 har vist, at 17 procent af danskerne tror, at Facebook er et public service-medie. og, at 22 procent tror, at Facebook har en chefredaktør, der tager ansvar for indholdet. De adspurgte er danskere over 16 år. Rapporten der er tale om er Nordisk Råds Nordic Media Literary Survey, publiceret i januar 2026. Three Mexicans Died During Celebrations Following National Team’s Victory

Around one million people gathered near the Angel of Independence monument to celebrate Mexico’s victory. On Wednesday, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum expressed her condolences to the families of the three people who died during celebrations at the Angel of Independence monument following Mexico’s victory over Ecuador in the 2026 World Cup. Reform UK’s deputy leader said last week that a parliamentary debate into Israeli influence on British politics was “antisemitic in its very motivation and at its core”. “As such, we should utterly reject it,” argued Richard Tice to a room full of MPs. What he did not tell them, however, was that he had been on a trip to “the Gaza front line” last September funded by the newly-created Reform Friends of Israel, where he concluded that the Gaza famine was a “blatant lie”. They also visited Israel’s police headquarters, which is overseen by far-right national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who is sanctioned by the UK for “repeated incitement of violence against Palestinian civilians”. This trip was funded by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to newly released Israeli government data seen by Declassified and found by Berlin-based journalist Yossi Bartel. The records show that the ministry paid Conexión Israel – a company based in Jerusalem that organises high-level country visits – more than £50,000 to facilitate the delegation. The delegates returned singing Israel’s praises and denouncing British protesters marching against the war in Gaza as antisemitic and “naively propping up a terrorist ideology”.

End of an era?

I think the main reason for this on PC has been the fact that there’s been piracy/licensing for so long. We used to have cd keys to prove you were using the legit disc. You bought a license, and there were cdchecks. Once you were able to prove ownership with a key instead of a disc, and create your own offline installers too? All the reasons to fight against it were gone. On consoles you can’t make offline backups. You can’t play without constant online license checks. And once the license date rolls over you can’t play anyway. My gog backup, I can install offline tomorrow never touch the Internet and be fine.

For example, on pretty much every food blogger site: https://www.realmomnutrition.com/change-camp-snacks/ This style of anti ad blocker injects JavaScript that will replace site content with a warning to disable ad blockers. Firefox-based browsers and ublock origin have no issues but with the related domains blocked at the DNS level I’m hoping to find a solution for family phones, and for other family members and guests who still use Chrome-based browsers that can’t negotiate script blocking.
