Only one religion tries to convert me door to door

Weeeeeelllll When I was a kid (12-13, in middle school) we shared a school bus with a local high school. One of the fellows on the bus was indeed a gay “man” (16-17 maybe), who was real good with computers, introduced me to Linux (though I wouldn’t run it myself for about 10yr.) Well, I was interested in computers, and he used this to become friends with me. Over the year-or-so we hung out some outside of school, but he kept showing me (straight) porn and we’d watch it together (mind you I’m 12-13 and he’s 16-17), and trying to get me to engage sexually with him, lines like “how do you know you’re not gay if you never tried it” and stuff like that. If that ain’t grooming idk what is, it didn’t take on me but he tried so hard. Btw, this 16-17yo kept telling me about a 30ish-yo that was doing the same to him (plus feeding him alcohol and gaining access to gay clubs in town underage,) so there’s an element of passing it on. I’m just saying, male on young male grooming isn’t not a thing…

Day 695 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

Today’s game is Jedi Fallen Order. I finished Twilight Princess yesterday and after being left with that, the sword play reminded me this went unplayed. I struggle with souls likes, but I really like this game so I’ve dedicated myself to beating the story. I want to try and 100% it but I’m not going to promise myself that as I know I might struggle with it. The progress I made was significantly hampered by the photo mode. Now that I’ve had proper training in using a camera I put some of that to use and took some pictures. It was fun. I think I prefer working with video games more than real life stuff just because it’s easier and also there’s some unique sights to see. I made it as far as the large ship before turning it off. I think I’m going to lower the difficulty down to story. I wanted to challenge myself but I think I’m struggling too much. We’ll see more tomorrow though

Iran Reveals Intel. Op. Tracing US Military Aircraft to Diego Garcia

Iranian sources claim a sophisticated intelligence operation tracked US P-8 aircraft and F-35 jets across multiple bases in the Gulf and Jordan. Iran has executed a sophisticated intelligence and operational plan in the strikes launched against several US military bases in the region early Thursday morning, Fars reported, citing a senior Iranian military source. The source, speaking to Fars News Agency, stated that the strikes inflicted significant losses on expensive equipment belonging to US forces in the region. In a detailed account of the operation, the source reported that Iranian forces tracked the flight path and positioning of two large US P-8 aircraft from the moment they took off. One of the aircraft was reportedly arriving from the Diego Garcia airbase in the central Indian Ocean, while the other was flying from a US base in Western Europe, heading toward the southern Gulf. According to the source, the precise locations of these two aircraft, at the Shaikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, were subsequently struck by Iranian precision weapons. Air defense systems were triggered west of the capital, Tehran, while explosions were heard in the cities of Sirik and Minab, both located in the Hormozgan province. Iranian state television later reported that air defenses had also been activated in Asaluyeh, a major energy hub in southern Iran. The broadcaster added that five hostile projectiles had targeted a location in Minab. Further explosions were reported in Bandar Abbas, including in the vicinity of the city’s airport and an Air Force base, according to the official IRNA news agency. The activation of air defense systems came shortly after Iranian authorities announced heightened readiness in western Tehran and several southern regions, including strategic energy sites, as regional military tensions continue to rise. Meanwhile, Tasnim News Agency denied earlier claims of explosions on Qeshm Island and other nearby islands. We could feed the planet with breadfruit alone

One breadfruit tree produces hundreds of pounds of tasty, nutritious fruit within a few years of being planted. Apparently all they need is high temperatures, good soil, and plenty of water. That’s it. No maintenance. Capitalists don’t use them because there’s no way to profit from them. I think I learned about this from a random tiktok video. I remembered Herman Melville’s other book, Typee, a memoir about how he ran away from a ship in the South Pacific and lived among indigenous people for six months or a year or so and had the time of his life. He loved those people, and they lived on breadfruit. All they did (simplifying obviously) was hang out, swim, and eat breadfruit. And meanwhile, we are here breaking our backs and/or brains, paying more for groceries every week while wages stagnate, and none of it has to be like this. Of course people want a little variety in their diets, of course there’s already enough food for everyone, but with breadfruit alone we could provide basic nutrition to everyone for free or next to nothing with no questions asked. Food insecurity, starvation, food deserts, malnutrition, animal suffering, pollution, none of this needs to exist. It’s all there so that the Epsteinists can buy more yachts. I know I’m preaching to the choir here but I was just thinking about this. I’m not even sure I’ve tasted breadfruit.
