Ubuntu is turning like Windows

I guess it’s time to leave Ubuntu as a new user and switch to a new distro. Ubuntu, Xubuntu, and Mint were my choice, but their base, Ubuntu, is becoming “bloated”, and turning to a latest computers’ OS. And I think it will affect its derivatives. Which distro would you suggest to switch to. I aint rich. I’m already aware of Fedora and its xfce, kde spins, Opensuse Leap and Tumbleweed, Debian and its derivatives, and Void. Are you planning to switch too.

From the Hawaii State Archives [Wikipedia] On this day in 1893, the Leper War on Kaua’i, also known as the Battle of Kalalau, began when members of the new colonial government arrived at Kalalau Valley to enforce a deportation order for an isolated leprosy colony there. Following the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii, the colonizers began enforcing the 1865 “Act to Prevent the Spread of Leprosy”, which involved deporting or forcibly relocating anyone who had the disease to the Kalaupapa Leprosy Colony of Kalawao, on the island of Molokai. On June 26th, a group led by deputy sheriff Louis Stoltz ventured deep into the Kalalau Valley to enforce this order. After they established an encampment, a band of lepers led by indigenous Hawaiian man Ko’olau (shown, with his family) seized the camp, and chased the lawmen back to the coast. The following day Ko’olau shot Stoltz dead while he was attempting to arrest a man named Paoa. On July 1st, 1893, fifteen soldiers landed in Kalalau Valley, initally without incident. Over the next two weeks, Ko’olau, along with his wife Pi’ilani, led a campaign of guerilla warfare against state forces, compelling them to give up due to their inability to Ko’olau or evade his group’s attacks. Twenty seven lepers were captured and sent to Kalawao, while the remaining lepers were never harassed again. The leper community dissolved, living in individual households. Ko’olau and his family remained unharmed, but hid in the valley for the remainder of his life. After Ko’olau’s death, his wife Pi’ilani left the valley to share their story, which was published in 1906 as Ka Moolelo oiaio o Kaluaikoolau (“The True Story of Kaluaikoolau”). Shrinkflation hits again!

Packaging has stayed the same size but the content has decreased 50% Edit: Thank you all for pointing out these are infact two different types of fruits. I guess I really am fruit blind. I did not have the older raspberry packaging, so I am comparing to the older strawberry packaging still in my freezer, of the same line/brand. All new packages are now 300g while the older packaging was 600g. Once (or if) I buy these again, I will snap a picture of the new 300g strawberry packaging. Here is a comparison of older Blueberry packaging of 600g still in my freezer, the ones in store are now 300g.

Jesus absolutely did not say that. He said to follow the law. Matthew 5:17-20 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Recommendations for music-setup?

Are there any good apps for android for navidrome/jellyfin respectively? Symfonium is paid but by far the best i tried. how easy can I add songs to them/do they pull metadata from somewhere (like jellyfin does for movies) I use navidrome and can’t speak to jellyfin. Navidrome is intentionally read-only for security reasons so you add music to where navidrome can see it and it’ll auto-scan them in. For metadata my recommendation is KDE picard. A lot of people recommend beets and it can be good but it’s a big learning curve. Kde picard has a nice gui and easier to get music matched for beginners. how do they (or any other options) compare in terms of ease of setup/maintainability? From what i see people use jellyfin because they don’t want “yet another container” and most people already have jellyfin for other media content. So that would be easiest route. Navidrome isn’t hard to set up though, and overall has a better feel for me. do you have any overall recommendations? Look into LRCGET to get the timesynced and/or plaintext lyrics of your songs. There’s also a navidrome plugin that will automatically fetch the lyrics when a song is played

Holy hell, Ernie.

He was in and maintained his amazing shape. Genetics definitely playing a role but I really believe proper resistance training and diet (ie lots of protein, proper caloric intake) is the fountain of youth. So many older in-good shape dudes at my local gym. You can tell they lifted heavy for decades.

On the third day of troubelshooting, Ai told to me. You have run out of tokens. Should not have tried the bigger model. And that was al that would be.
