Roblox Corp. introduced new rules preventing kids under 13 from accessing online games intended just for socializing and from making some kinds of virtual content, like drawing on digital chalkboards, the latest in a series of child-safety changes at the company.

They know what a roblox is, so they should be.
It’s kinda incredible tbh. It has almost all of the mechanics I’d want from all of the Battlefield games rolled right into one robloxy looking package. 10/10 can’t reccomend highly enough.
They want to be at home playing Roblox, but their parents made them wear ties and have their hair slicked into place. All to support a bill where they’re going to be playing less Roblox.
7.1% of the total hours spent were on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive / Counter-Strike 2 6.4% were in League of Legends 6.2% were in Roblox 5.8% were in Dota 2 5.4% were in Fortnite Proud to say I don’t play any of those. Screw live service games, there are plenty of other gems out there to keep me entertained.
s&box is not a Garry’s Mod sequel, it’s a Roblox wannabe full of FOMO paid cosmetics and that runs like shit.
There are two more things. First is that the game is notorious for being a host to paedophiles. The second is that not only children are exposed to microtransanction hell, but they also “work” for the people who make popular games in Roblox, who are often adults who make money from these games. I say “work” because they are not compensated for it. Turkiye’s ban cites “child exploitation” so it is probably this aspect of it that got them banned.
You basically make simplified games within the game engine/framework of roblox, then you can monetize it, so this described nonsense is confined to the roblox “place” “Welcome to Bloxburg”, some kind of life sim shit.
Grooming allegations notwithstanding, Roblox itself reminds me of those generic games you’d see a character playing in some TV show.
My kids go on Roblox with their friends to find and report pedos
