This guy's worst take yet

I have no idea what this game is but the person on the left looks like someone who’s been in battle and is still in some sort of a battle and the person on the right looks like an influencer cosplaying the person on the left

Like Paris Hilton, I was sent to Brat Camp — it was horrifying

I had a friend “sent” to something like this. His dad paid a private company to cosplay as cops, “catch” his son with weed paraphanalia, and then shipped him off in the middle of nowhere to be surrounded by… people with way worse drug problems than him that taught him a bunch of bad shit and how to get a hold of far worse drugs. Anyway, these facilities are absolutely fucked up, and it doesn’t matter who you are if you get sent to one, you’re going to be living with trauma. Sorry to all the fucking assholes who decided this story didn’t matter because of three fucking words at the beginning of the article. Grow the fuck up. Plenty of poor ass people end up in these facilities, too. A conservative parent who wants to abuse their child will spend money they don’t even fucking have to do it. My friends’ dad went into debt for this chicanery. Also, just because they’re a shitty rich kid doesn’t mean they deserve it. Be fucking better, Lemmy.

So grounded. So humble.

Flying economy just for fun? It is just her humble bragging about being rich by cosplaying as a regular person.

Sen. Mark Kelly fires back after Hegseth threatens his rank and retirement pay

So Hegseth, while serving as SecDef (or SecWar, or whatever in the hell he’s cosplaying) is violating first amendment rights of a US senator, veteran fighter pilot, and (get this) FUCKING ASTRONAUT for stating a part of the UCMJ that every military member is taught in basic training? IMHO, as soon as he’s done laughing, he should make copies for the indictment then frame the original to hang on his wall.

Wannabe Restore Society slapped down by York Student body

Students at the University of York, led by the York Student Action Network staged a loud but peaceful demonstration against the ratification of the Restore Britain Society. Whilst the protest remained non-violent, the atmosphere remained tense due to the annoyingly aggressive tactics of said society. The society, whose parent party is led by dickhead-in-chief Rupert Lowe, calls for mass deportations. Protesters stood in human chains to shield their comrades from the society’s irritating members, who spent all afternoon filming students and mocking them. Looks like misogyny is alive and well in the accolades of Lowe. Dignity vs dickheads at York The protesters were absolutely spot on. About 60 of them surrounded the student union building, a beautifully diverse crowd whose energy exploded, making the five guys in suits look like relics from a miserable past. This Restore lot stood there with sneers on their slapped-arse faces. Meanwhile, the protesters were full of life, passion, solidarity and a do-not-fuck-with-us attitude. It was a stunning sight to see a group that actually likes the true future of this country. They stood tall against a bunch of suited dickheads who want to drag us back to some shitty dark age that these guys seem to crave. Seriously, why is he cosplaying as Young Bob? What was the most impressive was the sheer discipline of these people. As the university staff watched on, some laughing, these Restore lads were using the same provocative tactics of far-right auditors. One of them even looked a like a Poundshop knock-off of Young Bob. But despite these few dickheads trying to repeatedly bum-rush the demo, a wall of masked women stood vigil and stopped them. Funny though, how these far-right types always like to bully women, and that seems to stretch across all age-ranges. Mockery and misogyny dressed in shit suits The Restore Britain Society showed up in pinstripes and aviators, like weird incel caricatures. I think some part of them wanted to portrait an air of being academically elite, but their behaviour told a different story. Looming and jeering over a line of women who stood as a human shield isn’t a good luck guys. It doesn’t make you look brave or edgy, it makes you look pathetic. One member was caught on camera sneering that the protesters “can only afford one megaphone”. Guys, you didn’t even turn up with one, so sit down. This classist bullshit from a tiny minority of the student body that think a bank balance determines your right to be heard is wild. https://www.thecanary.co/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/WhatsApp-Video-2026-04-23-at-10.42.11.mp4 This lot aren’t auditors, but they love the tactics. They stood with phones held high, trying to film the faces of the women protecting the crowd. Hoping for that viral ‘gotcha’ reaction from protesters, when all they did was make themselves look ridiculous. They want to play the victim card, holler about free speech. Restore claim they face “harassment, bullying and isolation” to the Student Union, but the reality is the opposite. They are the ones creating the hostile environment, using their physical presence to intimidate women and trans people who refuse to back down. And the university staff did fuck all about it. The security were there for no reason at all it seems. Staff complacency at York is a stab in the back While students were left to protect one another, the behaviour of some of the university staff was pathetic. They were there, there was a presence, but to say they were useless is an understatement. Several of them were even seen laughing with members of the Restore Society. How the hell is it okay for university staff to be seen having a giggle with a group that advocates for mass deportations of Black and Brown people? This isn’t a lapse in judgement, it’s a total betrayal of the university’s duty of care. A Restore Society student having issues operating a flag The party that these students represent isn’t just right-wing. It’s a hard line offshoot of Reform UK that wants 200,000 removals on day one. When staff are seen joking with these dickheads, it sends a message to the international members of the university to eff off, basically. That their safety is nothing but a joke. And they make up 28% of the York University student body. When this Restore rabble are advocating for the ban of Halal and Kosher foods to “restore Christian values” what does that say to Jewish and Muslim students? That they’re not welcome. And to see staff laughing with them is a total betrayal. Almost as bad as them allowing these goons to intimidate women and bum-rush the crowd. Come on guys, get a grip. Will the SU draw the line? Kaitlyn Beattie-Zarb, the York SU activities officer now has a choice to make. Having previously pledged to “call out any attempt to undermine dignity, respect and safety,” this seems like it will be an easy choice for her, surely? When you have a group calling for mass deportations, banning of literal food and who go around intimidating others, it seems to me like this will be an easy decision. And ratifying this group would be an admission that the SU cares more about the ‘rights’ of bullies than the safety of students. And trust me when I say, if this society is upheld, the protesters will continue to organise against them. Freedom of speech will never be freedom from consequence, and those masked up students absolutely meant business. The women who held the line yesterday showed more integrity than the university staff who played nice with radicals. These groups, whether they come under the banner of Reform, Restore or Britain First, all use the same shitty playbook of intimidation and misogyny. It’s time for the University of York to stop laughing along and start keeping it’s students safe. And if the Restore Society’s freedom of speech involves Instagram posts like this, the right choice becomes ever more clear. Seriously, wtf is this? If the SU validates this intimidation as ‘free speech,’ what’s to stop this Restore Society targeting students in their classrooms next? And the weird appearance of swastikas all over the University also needs investigating. Especially when the culprit hasn’t exactly covered their tracks. So, York University… what will it be? Oil, arms, pharma, Israel: the cut welfare to fund war folks have interesting affiliations

Establishment figures want more money for war. Recent days have seen government ministers, ex-ministers and generals all demanding welfare is cut to fund massive hikes to ‘defence’ budgets. Turns out they’re all linked to Israel, oil, arms and private healthcare. Quelle surprise, hey? War hawks gather The Canary reported on 15 April that UK PM and Chief Silly-Bum of Britainshire-upon-Thames Keir Starmer was under pressure to hike military budgets. The authors of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review were among the most vocal critics. These include former Labour defence minister Lord Robertson and ex-British army general Richard Barrons. Now, Thatcherite Labour health minister Wes Streeting chipped in as well. Turns out these figures have a links to various lobby groups across issues like pharmaceutical and the arms trade. Barrons said on 15 April that US defence chief Pete Hegseth was right that the Royal Navy was a shadow of itself. Like many others I hung my head in sorrow. But I couldn’t argue with him because although the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force and the army are, in their bones, outstanding institutions, they are simply too small and too undernourished to deal with the world that we we now live in. And the review says this. Lord Robertson, in a major 15 April speech, said that Starmer is: not willing to make the necessary investment. Funnily enough that money, Robertson said, should be squeezed out of the less well-off: We cannot defend Britain with an ever-expanding welfare budget. Classic. Corrosive complacency Robertson announced: There is a corrosive complacency today in Britain’s political leadership. Lip service is paid to the risks, the threats, the bright red signals of danger – but even a promised national conversation about defence can’t be started. He also accused “non-military experts in the Treasury” of “vandalism”. Which sounds like a pitch for more military control of the economy. The BBC reported: Lord Robertson’s apparent suggestion that the government could find money by reducing the welfare bill may be one that is shared by the Chancellor Rachel Reeves. Pressed on the matter in an LBC interview, working class cosplayer Streeting said: Yes, we do need to put more money into defence, we will need more, that’s the reality of the challenge we face. Pressed on where it would come from, he said: We definitely want to reduce the welfare budget. It’s for the Chancellor to set out her budgets, I want to make sure I stay in my lane. Pressured further he told the channel: It’s got to come from somewhere. So why not already vulnerable disabled people who are already struggling to live, eh Wes? Talk about pulling the ladder up, Streeting… Big Pharma and arms trade links Now we come to it… the great grift of our times. Let’s start with Barrons, who is co-chair of Universal Defence and Security Solutions (UDSS). Here’s what UDSS has to say about itself: UDSS is a leader in not only the delivery of practical advice and service in all areas of defence and security but also in the thinking and execution of digital age Defence and Security Transformation, including applied cyber. A man with a vested interest in defence spending, in short… NATO chief and BP advisor How about Lord Robertson who once headed NATO? Well, Lord Robertson is a ‘senior counselor‘ at the US-based Cohen Group. The Cohen Group assists: aerospace and defense firms on policy, business development and transactions. We have helped firms from the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Turkey, Israel, GCC, India, Southeast Asia, and Japan to succeed in North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Latin America, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. They have: assisted clients to compete for and win tens of billions of dollars in contracts, to enter new international markets, to build joint venture and other partnerships overseas, and to move up the supply chain. Another man with an interest in defence spending increases them? Cohen Group also helps out energy firms. Which is lucky… because Robertson is an advisor to the CEO of British Petroleum. Delightful. One-way Streeting How about Streeting? Well, it’s no secret that as health secretary Streeting has been a strident advocate of privatising the NHS down to the last doorknob. That may have something to do with his profound links to private healthcare firms… but who can say? These links are probably best demonstrated by this popular breakdown, in this case tweeted by Streeting’s nemesis Green Party leader Zack Polanski: Wes Streeting having the chutzpah to tell the story about the NHS. He doesn’t tell the bit about how much he’s accepted from private healthcare and the risk our NHS is at under this Labour Government. And most of all, lots of questions about his meetings with Palantir.#BBCQT pic.twitter.com/r51e5dojEd — Zack Polanski (@ZackPolanski) March 19, 2026 Streeting has also received tens of thousands of pound from the Israel lobby, according to this report by our pals at Declassified UK. The report notes that: Streeting became the first member of Keir Starmer’s shadow cabinet to visit Israel, in a move designed to signal a break with Jeremy Corbyn’s pro-Palestine position. The trip was paid for by, you guessed it… our old chums at Labour Friends of Israel (LFI). When a group of establishment drones want to cut welfare to fund militarism and war, the first question you must always ask is: whose pocket are you in? That is certainly worth asking of this gaggle of wrong ‘uns, as it turns out. A little scrutiny links them directly to some of the most obnoxious interests around: from private healthcare and the arms industry, through to Israel lobbyists and global energy giants. They must think we’re bloody fools or something… Featured image via the Canary By Joe Glenton From Canary via This RSS Feed.

CAMPBELL: Residents of B.C.’s capital fed up with big pickups downtown

Fuck trucks. I remember the Ranger it was barely bigger than a minivan. These things are obscene. People who own them don’t need them. Most people don’t even need trucks. People like to cosplay that they live up a 25 degree incline of muddy, rocky road. But a subaru would be just fine and IS in most of the world.

Why are prop, non functioning guns way more expensive than airsoft guns?

I’m doing an NCR Trooper cosplay and what I’ve noticed is that buying an M16A1 airsoft gun and some brown paint for the furniture is WAYYYYY cheaper than buying a non-functioning prop. Like, the website I saw listed an M1 Carbine Airsoft gun as 250 dollars but the prop version is over 1000. What gives?
